When you hear art, the first thing you probably think about is drawing or painting. But, Art comes in many forms, visual, dance, musical, and many others. But today I’ll be writing about my favorite type, visual art.

What is Visual Art?

Visual art is the art that is visual and you can make visually, Visual art doesn’t have to be just drawing or something you make that you can touch, it can also be film making or photography.

I like visual art because I feel like I can be very expressive with it. Since there’s so many different ways to do visual art, I feel like there’s always another thing you can try if you’re not the best at drawing or painting. My favorite sub category of visual art is drawing, I love to draw and doddle it relaxes me a lot. It makes me calm even if I had a stressful day at school. There’s no limitations with art, especially drawing, since whatever you feel like drawing you can draw, even if you can’t put it into words you can interpret it into an image from your imagination.

My Favorite Painting

This is my favorite painting because of many different reasons. One of them is the colors, I really love how much they pop and stand out. Another thing is that it reminds me of when I went to Cuba and toured Havana, and it was such a fun trip and great experience.

Favorite Artist

My favorite artist would probably be Bob Ross. I talked more about him in my last post but to recap he was an artist with a show called the joy of painting that aired in the 80’s-90’s. He’s my favorite because of how inspiration and calm he is. I also really like his nature theme he has in his paintings.
